eyeclarity has won a prestigious national award from the Australian Retailers Association as over 400 retailers, media and other key industry figures gathered on 2nd of July the for the annual Australian Retailers Association (ARA) Australian Retail Awards, hosted at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne.

The judging panel comprised a comprehensive expert panel of retail global experts. “The judging process for the ARA Awards seems to get harder and harder each year as the calibre of entries grows higher. We were overwhelmed with the superb quality of this year’s entries from retailers across Australia. said ARA Executive Director Russell
Zimmerman.

“The ARA would like to congratulate all of the 2015 eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards winners, who have beaten out tough competition to receive this recognition,eyeclarity received the Pronto Software Australian Retail Innovator of the Year award at the 2015 eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards.

The 2015 Pronto Software Australian Retail Innovator of the Year award recognises a retail business constantly pushing the boundaries of convention. Displaying a talent for finding new opportunities, the winner of this category can be described as a visionary that is in tune with able to adapt to the ever-changing economic and social climate.

Paul Greenberg (the MC) said “Our judges were blown away by all of the entries for the Innovator of the Year category, but Melbourne-based optical retailer eyeclarity really stood out from the crowd.”

The awards were in recognition of the uniquely developed myeyes® software selection assistant kiosks located in each eyeclarity store. The myeyes® software educates consumers on their eyewear choices and provides a unique way of customising eyewear.
This has been combined with the innovative eyeclarity developed LensLab® which comprises interactive displays of lenses. The innovations allows consumers to customise the product for themselves and make informed choices to suit their specific needs.
